The Lindy Way to Lose Weight

Obesity rates keep climbing higher and higher with seemingly no end in sight.

It is most likely a symptom of an affluent world. We are surrounded by delicious food that is cheap and a world where we do not have to exert physical movement in order to survive. We have created an environment that has become too comfortable. It is leading to numerous health complications.

But recently a solution has arrived. We are now going to treat this unnatural environment with pharmaceuticals. Obviously, this is not a Lindy approach. The wildly popular drug Ozempic has swept through society, transforming bodies overnight. Everywhere you look, celebrities are suddenly all getting skinny and now you are starting to see the middle and upper classes slimming down.

Ozempic is all the rage these days amongst celebrities trying to keep their weight in check, but what is it and what is all the controvers... See more

Even I tried it for a month, testing if it’s really the miracle drug everyone claims. It really does work. It slows down your digestion, so a little food keeps you full all day and you' have no desire to eat. I lost 10 pounds on it in a month. After I got off of it, I knew it would be incredibly popular.

It’s gotten so popular that we’re seeing how it changes supermarket habits. The drug changes what you buy at the supermarket and now it’s showing in the analytics.

Are people going to be on this drug for life now? Everyone? It seems bleak.

If you're very obese, it makes sense to use Ozempic. You need to get out of the danger zone. There are so many health issues related to obesity that even an experimental drug helps get you down to a healthy weight. The problem is people using the drug to lose 10-20 pounds. This is starting to happen. We don’t know the long-term consequences. A few reports of side effects are coming out. One of them is losing sight in your eyes.

We don’t know what’s going to happen if people take this their entire life. This is a big experiment happening now. Humanity is testing this.

What if you don’t want to be part of the great experiment? What are your options in this modern world where weight loss is difficult and we are surrounded by temptation at all times? It is an unnatural environment. It is very difficult.

I explore seven time-tested ways to lose weight without resorting to a pharmacological intervention that has unknown long-term risks.

7 Ways To Lose Weight the Lindy Way

1) Embrace the Heat

It’s been a hot summer this year. You can really feel it. hot weather puts he in a hypnogogic state, can't think sharply but thinks more creatively and sexuallly,

One big thing about hot summers is that you never feel hungry. And when you do eat, you get filled up pretty quickly. Hot temperatures change us. We’re not interested in food like we would be in the winter or fall. It’s the easiest season to lose weight. Pay attention to how you feel when you step out into the hot summer sun. Do you actually feel hungry? Do you want to feel full? I do not. I prefer drinking water and staying light. The heat makes it easier to diet.

This is a phenomenon discussed from our earliest writings on humans.

Hippocrates, known as the father of medicine, In his work "On Airs, Waters, and Places,"he mentions how different climates can affect the human body, including digestion and appetite. He notes that hot climates tend to make people less hungry and more inclined to drink. Galen, a prominent Roman physician, also discussed the impact of temperature on health. He observed that people in hotter climates often have reduced appetites and consume lighter meals.

It makes sense. We're highly evolved to create our own heat (shivering is a side effect of this function). Humans are extraordinarily well adapted to heat due to our upright bipedal gait (low exposure to sun) & exposed skin with sweat glands.

But once I step into air conditioning my hunger comes back quick. AC takes theses functions off-line. All that heat that represses hunger suddenly disappears all at once once you step into the cold air conditioning room. Your hunger comes back. And it is voracious.

Try it yourself. Go outside in the heat and see if you feel hungry at all.
